This depends on what you want for your service and content, however Weddings will generally be 30-45 mins, whereas Vow Renewal & Commitment Ceremony’s 25-35 mins.

If you require one, of course. Some couples like to have a rehearsal at their venue, we can discuss this at your consultation to ensure my availability and talk through the details.
Marriage law is no longer fit for modern society. So, while we wait for the Wedding Reform which we hope will legalise Independent Celebrant weddings, if you have a Celebrant ceremony, you also need to book your registrar appointment to sign the legal documents. This costs around £50 (depending on which local authority), if you go for their basic ‘2&2’ or ‘You plus 2’ service – most couples book this during the week before. Save your vows, ring exchange and any other symbolic elements/rituals for your celebrant-led ceremony!
Most couples write or source their own vows, keeping them secret from their partner until the day. However, if you would like any support or advice, I am more than happy to help!

Generally, couples like up to 2 readings, then up to 2 symbolic elements/rituals in addition to vows & ring exchange. But, this is your day, your way! So you can choose what’s right for you.

Yes! With greater freedom of choice now, you can choose who you marry, what kind of future and family you want to have, based on love, mutual attraction, companionship and equality; rather than on gender-based roles, set cultures and stereotypes. Therefore, I welcome everyone.

Yes! Your ceremony can be any time, any day.
Yes, I am happy to perform a religious or an inter faith ceremony to honour your beliefs.
Yes, absolutely! (check with your venue though!), but from my perspective, I am happy to discuss how we could involve your fur-baby(s) in the ceremony and any symbolic elements or rituals.
Anywhere really! If you dream of a wedding in a castle grounds, hotel gardens, your favourite local vineyard, beachfront at sunset or perhaps a family garden set up, as long as you have permission, then you are good to go! You do not need a licenced venue and it can be anytime of the day or night!

When your deposit has been paid, I will not take any other bookings for that date, unless you cancel your booking or balance isn’t paid by the due date.
Yes. Technology is a wonderful tool, that enables those unable to join you in person, to attend your ceremony virtually. Similarly, if personal circumstances do not allow you and/or your partner to be there physically, I can also perform your entire ceremony virtually. Please reach out to discuss this in confidence.
